Just finished watching Street Angel, it’s on several lists of greatest Chinese films (Hong Kong Film awards best 100 Chinese motion pictures; 100 greatest Chinese motion pictures of the 20th Century)

And better yet its in the public domain, i.e no one owns the copyright, so its free to download, I got it from internet archive & a good review here

  • Alvy at 9: The universe is expanding.
